Learning by building.
Stanford Mechanical Engineering student pursuing a Computer Science minor. Expected June 2029. I work across mechanical systems, software, fabrication, and technical leadership.
I started doing electrical and plumbing work with my dad in Santa Ana in middle school. A thousand service calls later, I’ve learned the best design is the one somebody can actually fix.
Competition robots gave me another place to practice that lesson: machines that have to fit, move, survive contact, and remain repairable under time pressure. Across ten competition robots, I learned to carry a challenge through master sketches, CAD, fabrication, controls, assembly, and field feedback.
At Southern California Edison, the same systems thinking moved into software. I built a local AI proposal-review tool and a platform for coordinating outages. I liked taking a messy process, figuring out where people were losing time, and building something they could actually use.
I also care about helping people get started with engineering. At Perrybotics, I lead VEX programs at six high schools and support CTE programs serving 400 students. Teaching robotics has given me another way to practice engineering: explaining why something works, helping someone find a problem, and giving them room to solve it.
Outside my own builds, I mentor students in math, physics, engineering, programming, and robotics. On weekends, I volunteer at robotics tournaments and make time for the gym.
Academic study and expected graduation.

T&D Technical Project Management InternAt Edison, I built tools to make proposal review and outage planning easier for the Transmission & Distribution team. I also went on field walkdowns with Project Engineers, helped work through conduit repair options and costs, and looked at site security needs. I liked getting to connect the software work with what was actually happening in the field.

Executive DirectorI lead VEX programs at six high schools and manage our $15,000 annual budget. That covers equipment, fabrication access, competitions, and the logistics that keep a team running. We also run CTE programs for 400 middle-school students through Tustin and Downey Unified. Before becoming Executive Director, I led mechanical design and helped build ten competition robots with the team.
- June 2024-August 2025
- Magikid Robotics Lab
Curriculum InstructorI developed robotics lessons for 31 students ages 4–13 using SolidWorks, 3D printing, and Python. I also coached a team through robot design, controls, and project planning to qualify for the VEX AI World Championship. A lot of the job was helping someone find the next thing to try without doing the work for them.

Electrical & Plumbing Field TechnicianWorking alongside my dad, I supported residential and commercial electrical and plumbing installation, repairs, and troubleshooting. The work included panels, circuits, lighting, fixtures, water lines, water heaters, and smart-home systems. I also helped with material purchasing, job scheduling, training new helpers, and emergency maintenance for restaurants.
